   Thank you very much for the link. Not many managers would be prepared to be so open as Berkowitz is in this unscripted conference call.

   As usual his integrity, emotional intelligence and humour shine through. Another thing I like about him is that he is not in denial about how difficult things have been over the last couple of months. You rarely hear this level of honesty and responsibility from money managers.

   Unlike many other managers who blame the Fed, the short sellers or indeed the short-selling ban, Berkowitz makes very few excuses.
